Designed to provide mulch manufacturers, pellet producers. recycleres and biofuel companies with less noise, dust, and energy cost when using a grinder, Cresswood's new XR-2400 CRESSWOOD PALLET GRINDER is the largest model the company has ever manufactured. This grinder allows pallet companies to increase their output volumes to a new level in low-speed, high torque grinding. Units feature high throughput capabilities. the ability to be nested indoors due to less noise and dust, and lower energy cost when compared to other technologies, according to Cresswood.
The Cresswood HF-60 ‘Compact Stroke’ (CS) single-shaft, low-rpm “DESTROYER” shredder/grinder offers recyclers all the latest engineering updates, but is packaged in a smaller footprint, with both space and cost-saving advantages. Designed for processing applications that don’t require a larger feed area, the ram stroke in the CS model is decreased by 10 inches, which allows material more efficient movement to the cutterhead, providing increased machine throughput.
Quincy Recycle, Inc., a full-service commercial recycler offering B2B waste reduction solutions to customers throughout the Midwest recently announced the acquisition of On-Site Information Destruction, out of Waterloo, Iowa.
Cresswood Shredding Machinery recently introduced the new Destroyer-Max Drive System for its Destroyer line of single-shaft, low-RPM shredder/grinders. The new drive system is designed to offer commercial and municipal recycling operations increased throughput and uniform output results when processing bulky and dense materials such as paper cores, books, plastic purgings, pallets, containers, and mixed wood scrap.
The EF-24SR end-feed grinder features a 24-inch grinding head length and 10-inch diameter. These units can be used as dedicated grinders with a high-speed panel saw or gang rip-saw, and automatically reduce waste generated by small band saws, resaws, gang ripsaws, and blocks from chop saws. Like all products in the Destroyer series, the EF-12SR is manufactured with a rugged steel structural frame and top-quality components, with easy servicing and preventive maintenance.
Designed as a more compact and owner-friendly grinding system, the space-saving EF-12SR horizontal end-feed grinder is the smallest in Cresswood’s Destroyer Series. With a width trimmed from 57 inches down to 35 inches, these units offer a reduction in size of 39 percent over previous models.
