The model 3800 Wood Hog, aimed at midrange wood and green waste recycling applications, features a large 38-inch by 59.75-inch infeed opening, provides high levels of material flow into the mill chamber, and a generous rotor tip swing. A step-frame design creates plenty of space under and within the mill area, and units are equipped with internal hydraulic drive on the feed wheel, as well as a six-tooth drive sprocket on the bed chain.
Smooth, efficient grinding and a high quality end product are benefits of the unit’s upswing mill design, and units are complete with three sections of screen, offering 3,539 square inches of screening area. A two-sided, bolt-on anvil is easily maintained and, if necessary, easy to replace.
