Clean-Sweep tines use a near-concentric edge, so that windrows are rotated more completely, resulting in more thorough gas exchange and rotation of material between “hot” and “dormant” areas of the pile. An additional benefit is lower maintenance and longer life of the tine due to reduced, more even wear. The improved material handling provided results in higher, more consistent fertility content and lower toxicity in the resulting compost.
