Mack Trucks will feature its machines built for the waste and recycling industry at WasteExpo 2025. Offerings on display will include the Mack TerraPro Daycab, a Mack MD6 battery-electric vehicle (BEV), and a Mack Granite Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), from May 5 to 8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mack Truck offerings for the waste and recycling sector
The Mack TerraPro model is a versatile truck designed for demanding applications. Featuring the Mack MP7 Powerleash engine, the TerraPro delivers ample performance with 355 hp and 1,250 ft.-lb. of torque, making it ideal for refuse collection and other heavy-duty applications.
The Mack MD6 Electric, a Class 6 model with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 25,995 pounds, is exempt from the 12 percent Federal Excise Tax. The MD6 Electric offers 260 hp and 1,850 lb.-ft. of torque, powered by a 240 kWh energy storage system, providing a clean, zero-tailpipe emission solution for urban environments.
The Mack Granite CNG model showcases Mack's commitment to alternative fuel solutions, featuring a Cummins L9N-G engine that delivers 320 hp and 1,000 ft.-lb. of torque, while offering reduced emissions through its CNG power system.
