LEFORT expands product line with MTP 800 shredders
Multi-product shredders feature a hammer-equipped rotor and low motor-rotation speed for high torque
Following on the world premiere of their first self-propelling track mounted shear/baler/logger at the ISRI 2016 Convention and Expo, LEFORT has announced the latest addition to its product line: a horizontal Multi Product 800-hp shredder. These new LEFORT shredders come with a hammer-equipped rotor, used for grating various products. According to LEFORT, the configuration of the 800-hp electrical motor, directly connected to the rotor shaft via a hydraulic coupler, and the interchangeable high-strength steel hammer system, have been extensively tested to ensure exceptional output capacity standards and vastly reduced maintenance time. The low motor-rotation speed ensures high torque to handle the toughest materials, and dust extraction units, vibrating tables and a waste sorting selection system are also tailored to customer needs. LEFORT shredders are available in different versions and power units in line with the necessary production capacity, and can be equipped with an electric or thermal motor. All machines work according to current safety standards and carry the “CE” label for the European market, as well as the “UL” label for the U.S.
LEFORT offers customers a complete package: delivery, installation of the equipment and accessories, as well as commissioning and operator training, all to keep costs down that are usually incurred by the involvement of different suppliers. Thanks to a worldwide dealership network, customers can rely on a tried and tested functional structure and a stock of available spare parts that ensures timely technical support of the best quality. According to LEFORT, 2017 will be the company's most exciting year yet, as they celebrate the 70th anniversary of its first machine, introduced in 1947. With extensive experience in the design of shredders, and applying the same philosophy used in manufacturing its proven, internationally renowned shears and balers, LEFORT says that this new generation of shredder machines will help further broaden its range of specialties while offering a quality product and continuing to pursue its strategy of developing and tapping into new markets.
