Allied Construction Products, LLC has announced the addition of the AMS Series Mobile Shears to their full-product line. These all-new hydraulic attachments are specifically designed and built for scrap processing, industrial contracting and demolition applications. AMS Series Mobile Shears are available in five models (AMS 20, AMS 30, AMS 40, AMS 50 and AMS 100) ranging from 795 tons to 1,600 tons of cutting force.
Allied Construction says AMS Series shears feature an increased pin diameter that allows for greater cutting force, and faster cycle times from an integrated speed valve mean lower costs per ton. Units also provide increased speed on 360-degree rotation for greater operator flexibility, and use four-way indexable cutting blades that can cut on all four cutting edges.
Other key features include: a bolt-on bracket that allows for mounting on most excavators; an integrated speed valve that is compact and is comprised of only 13 parts; an Auto-Guide mechanism that delivers force on the upper jaw to prevent flexing; and a High-Top design that protects the cylinder from debris.
Additionally, AMS Series Mobile Shears are manufactured with lightweight Weldox 900 material, which increases strength and fuel economy.
