IPL’s MantisWay is an integrated locking and unlocking system for waste collection. This solution lets carts stay locked until they are automatically unlocked at collection time. The comprehensive system is safe, effective and easy to use, allowing municipalities to offer their residents better service for less and to keep storage areas clean and secure. The system consists of two parts: the locking device and the unlocking mechanism. The IPL unlocking system was developed with the automated Mantis arm to allow safe single-operator waste and recyclables collection.
