Toter has introduced the Toter composter, a unique continuous-flow unit designed to make backyard composting easy. Unlike tumbler-style units that can be difficult to use and require batch loading, where users load the unit and then wait up to eight weeks before adding more material, the Toter composter is a continuous feed unit. It loads from the top and material and finished material falls into the holding chamber below by turning the integrated handle.
An internal aeration chimney facilitates the flow of air throughout the material to enhance the composting process. Units come fully-assembled and ready-to-use outdoor, along with a kitchen countertop container to transport food scraps to the composter. The outdoor unit is wheeled for easily maneuverability, allowing users to position in the sun to enhance the composting process or to move the unit to where finished material is needed.
Plus, like Toter’s carts, these composters are manufactured with an advanced rotational molding process to create a durable product that is stronger and more impact-resistant than injection-molded products. The composter also features a wood slat design to blend with outdoor surroundings and a lid latch helps prevent animals from gaining access.
