Manufactured in Europe by Ecotecnica and distributed in North America by Harris, the Manta 54 is a ruggedly designed, small footprint baler / logger ideal for operations that need a transportable or permanently stationary machine. These baler / loggers process white goods, light scrap, factory clips and skeletons, and include heavy-duty design throughout as well as compression box hinges that provide virtually no exposure to scrap when the baler/logger is in the closed position.
The entire ram on these units (not just the front face plate) is constructed of Hardox steel for superior wear life, and an optional roll on / roll off system is ideal for mobile scrap processing, as it adds rollers and a hook-up bar to the baler structure for easier loading and unloading.
For power and hydraulics, the Manta 54 features side cylinder mounts designed with functionality, accessibility and removal in mind, split flange hose couplings on all primary connections, compact yet accessible layout of core components, and units are available in diesel or electric drive.
Other key features include an available Allen-Bradley or Siemens based PLC system and a remote control operating unit. The Manta 54 is ideal for all production sizes and volumes and its design and construction eliminates the need for site preparation.
