These magnetic pulleys use an axial interpole magnetic circuit to provide a uniform magnetic field. Units are designed to prevent machinery damage and product contamination, and are engineered for the automatic separation of heavy tramp iron contaminants from conveyor transported materials, including recyclables, wood products, glass cullet, paper and rock products. These self-cleaning units – offered in permanent and electromagnetic designs – are available in 80 combinations of diameters from 203 to 914 mm (8 to 36 inches) and belt widths from 203 to 1,524 mm (8 to 60 inches).
