Expanded range of whole-tree chippers

Expanded range of whole-tree chippers

Bandit Industries now offers three drum-style whole-tree chippers, in addition to three disc-style track chippers already available.

Equipped with an optional built-in loader, Bandit track chippers can drive to their feedstock, feed material and then process it. Track models can also be operated by remote control, and all units use Caterpillar undercarriages.

Bandit’s drum-style models include the new 2290 Track (see page 5), the 22-inch capacity (55 tons per hour) 2590 Track and the 3090 model with a 24-inch capacity and engine options up to 630 hp.

Disc-style models include units between 18 and 24-inch capacities, with engine options ranging from 250 hp to 700 hp, and with production capacities up to 100 tons of chips per hour on the largest model 2400 Track (shown here). The 2400 uses a five-feed wheel system and delivers chips through a swivel discharge spout.
