Morbark’s new Beever M18RX is designed as a lightweight option package for the Beever M18R Brush Chipper. Less than 10,000 pounds fully charged with fluids, spare tire and a rugged winch, this rigid and efficient machine can be towed without a CDL.
Other key modifications include a single feed-wheel yoke pivot assembly with TorqMax drive, which minimizes dead space between feed wheel and chipper drum, and increases down pressure efficiency. The Beever M18RX is available in 140 to 170 hp with Cummins, John Deere or Caterpillar power options.
In 2010, Morbark also introduced design improvements for the Beever M12R and M15R Brush Chippers (shown above). Updates on both machines are meant to offer considerable production and ease of use benefits.
