
Glickman Metal Recycling LLC, owned by Yaffe Companies Inc., recently purchased a Harris HS 80115 Shredder system for their Wichita, Kansas location. “We like the way the material flows through the mill and the design is efficient,” said Richard Caldwell, general manager of Glickman Metal Recycling LLC. “The HS 80115 is designed to minimize and simplify maintenance while increasing the machines productive life,” says Javier Herrera, vice president of Harris Shredder.
Harris metal shredders include the HS6090, HS80115, HS98115, HS125115 models which are 60-, 80-, 98-, and 125-inch hammer swing shredders respectively. Features include a patented reversible hood, back wall castings, and fully interlocked fabrication. Available in 2,000 to 7,000 horsepower, Harris shredders have full system capabilities, and units will process auto scrap, white goods, secondary metals, aluminum and selected structural steel shapes.
