Éco Entreprises Québec (EEQ)

Eco Enterprises Quebec (EEQ) manages the selective collection system in Quebec. For over 20 years, it has represented companies that market containers, packaging, and printed materials in the province. Its goal is to enable the population to recover more and better, to ensure a second life for recyclable materials, and to contribute to the circular economy throughout the province. 

Through the advances that EEQ has made in modernizing selective collection, the organization has increased funding for collection services, ensured the collection frequency matches needs in communities, overseen the collection and transport of materials, provided blue bins to municipalities, and increased performance and quality of sorting centres across the province.
