Specifying a tipping cylinder for a smaller vehicle requires a fine balance between fast operation and reliability. To help with the task, JOST World has released a new Edbro cylinder which is targeted at 7.5- to 10-tonne trucks. CS7 / CX7 cylinders use modern sealing and manufacturing techniques to improve reliability and increase lifting and lowering speeds.
Dunn Bros, a UK-based metal recycling company has used its industry expertise to develop the Horizontal Container Ejection Loader – a fast efficient, safe and extremely cost effective system for loading processed scrap metals into 20-foot and 40-foot containers, without the need to remove them from the delivery vehicle. Key to the reliable operation of the loading system is Edbro’s RK series of telescopic cylinders which, at 12.5- metre-stroke, are the largest ever produced by the British company.
According to UK-based Edbro, directives that have been implemented in recent years with the aim of reducing vehicle emissions have left body builders and truck operators struggling with the problem of reducing the weight of truck-mounted equipment in order to maximize payloads, without compromising quality or performance.
Edbro has launched a high-voltage alert system designed to protect drivers and equipment from power line contact and other potential electrical hazards. Using a simple detection antenna, the high voltage alert senses when a tipper is dangerously close to power lines and emits audio and visual warnings to the driver.
UK-based hydraulic truck tipping hoist and waste management equipment specialist Edbro has launched a new telescopic arm skiploader as well as a powerful, lightweight hooklift system, designed to meet modern requirements for increased productivity, optimum chassis utilization and maximum safety. Both the new MB14T telescopic arm skiploader (shown) and the TH23 power hook offer a fast lift-off facility that dramatically reduces lifting cycles.
