Eaton GH100 and GH101 hoses for high-percentage biodiesel blend and high-temperature oil applications
Power management company Eaton has announced the launch of the GH100 and GH101 hoses for high-percentage biodiesel blend and high-temperature oil applications. Unlike standard fuel hoses that only last 1-2 years, Eaton’s GH100 and GH101 solutions are engineered for maximum performance in systems with a variety of fuel types, featuring a unique polymer that more effectively resists degradation.
The waste collection industry faces a literal mountain of trash and recyclables each day, dispatching trucks from house to house and cart or container to dumpster, gathering recycling and waste to transport it to a transfer station or landfill. This highly regulated industry is constantly looking for ways to reduce wasted energy and increase efficiencies. Proper vehicle maintenance is one way to make the process of transporting and hauling more effective and efficient.
In 2009, households and institutions in the United States generated 243 million tons of municipal solid waste(MSW). Every day, the average American tosses away 4.34 pounds of trash. Canadians actually tossed more than Americans – in 2008, approximately 1,031 kilograms (kg) of waste was disposed per person – or approximately 2.82 kg (6.22 pounds) per day. Although recycling rates are on the rise in both countries, and more facilities now convert solid waste into energy, the vast majority is still collected and transported to a landfill via refuse and recycling trucks.
