The TerraPro Cabover model combines Mack’s traditional ruggedness with a new driver environment designed to maximize comfort and productivity.
Features of the TerraPro Cabover interior aimed at ensuring driver comfort include: a steering column positioned for ample belly room; ergonomic seats; an integrated armrest; easy-to-read gauges and easy-to-reach switches; accelerator and brake pedals suspended above the cab floor and mounted in-line; efficient, effective HVAC climate control system; an easy-to-reach parking brake; cab lighting controls reachable from the ground; a courtesy map light; and plenty of storage.
In addition, the TerraPro Cabover model offers a smooth quiet ride thanks to the design of its engine mounts, cab bushings and rubber isolators, and electronicallyTransfer trailer bumpersBolt-on steel bumpers are now standard equipment on all East live-floor and tipper transfer trailers, adding strength and protection. For East live-floor trailers, the bumper incorporates a slope plate designed to interface with other equipment, and for East tipper trailers, the bumper has built-in rubber pads designed to reduce the stress and impact where the trailer interfaces with a tipping platform. A bolt-on design utilizes special connectors to inhibit galvanic corrosion. East transfer trailers are available in Genesis fuel-efficient smooth-side, or classic sheet-and-post sidewall construction. Both versions are available as tipping platform or live-floor systems.
