20-inch capacity brush chipper
The Typhoon 20 is a 20-inch capacity chipper, with the drum and feed wheel both 28-1/2 inches wide. There is virtually no dead space, and the six knife pockets allow three full cuts per revolution, greatly increasing chipping efficiency. The 250- or 325-hp options on the Typhoon 20 create the ability to chip more material faster, and increased airflow significantly reduces the chances of plugging, reducing time on the job.
The Typhoon 20, equipped with a four-inch by eight-inch centre beam and a 66½-inch by 40½-inch infeed chute, not only accepts a wider variety of material, but the unit can be fed with auxiliary loading equipment. Units also feature a redesigned pivot, which eliminates the yoke swing and increases down pressure efficiency. This rugged unit comes with a 2.5-inch lunet ring, 20,000-pound tandem axle suspension, along with heavy-duty 3/8-inch chains and clasp hooks to secure for efficient towing.
