Compact shredder handles wide range of organic materials
The AK 530 compact shredder is designed for almost any shredding application, and features a high throughput rate and a patented load-sensing material feeding system. Units feature a heavy grating mass, a flail drum with 1,000 rpm and free-swinging flail holders with replaceable tips. The quickly replaceable shredding system is unique and the flail sizing basket can be changed in less than 15 minutes.
The AK 530 can handle a wide range of materials including waste wood, wood pallets, trunks, roots, green waste, and organic waste, and is maintenance friendly due to large side doors and central lubrication. A replaceable fine shredding basket closes the shredding chamber at the rear, and a mesh size of 40 to 400 mm determines the material grain size. A load sensing scraper floor leads the material to be shredded to a heavy roller with oscillating bearing which introduces material securely into the shredding chamber. The feeding roller and scraper floor are separately driven. Other key features of these shredders include: short set-up operation time using a hydraulically foldable discharge conveyor which can be equipped with a magnetic drum; easily accessible cooler; and easy machine handling, with remote control, so that units can be moved by a wheel loader bucket with gripping device and slip-on coupling or by the hydraulic drive.
