M325D MH and M325D LMH
Caterpillar M325D MH and M325D LMH Wheel Material Handlers are designed to meet the production requirements of the scrap, demolition and bulk materials handling industries. The new models, which replace models M325C MH and M325C LMH, feature Cat engines with more power and very low emissions, stronger hydraulic performance with a modulated grapple rotate function, and a new cab and operator station offering superior visibility, control and comfort.
The M325D MH is equipped with four sets of dual 12.00-20 solid rubber tires and has an operating weight of 68,059 pounds (30,871 kg). The M325D LMH has an operating weight of 77,737 pounds (35,261 kg) and is equipped with four single 16.00-25 solid rubber tires. Optional pneumatic tires are available.
These material handlers are powered by a Cat C7 Engine with ACERT Technology. The engine meets EPA Tier III and EU Stage IIIa exhaust emissions standards, while maintaining the reliability, durability and performance that characterize Cat engines. The C7 is a six-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine with a displacement of 7.2 litres, and which produces 190 hp (140 kW) in the M325D MH and 204 (152 kW) in the M325D LMH. It also features electronic controls that govern a mechanically actuated unit fuel injection (MEUI) system.
AnADEMA4electroniccontrolmodule manages fuel delivery to get the best performance per unit of fuel used. The engine management system provides flexible fuel mapping, allowing the engine to respond quickly to varying application needs, and automatic engine speed control offers two-stage one-touch control for maximum fuel efficiency and reduced sound levels.
Another key feature of these models is an advanced hydraulic system that can maximize hydraulic power when needed for faster implement speeds, and which includes a heavy-lift feature that increases lifting capacity by three percent to six percent for improved control of heavy loads.
