Diamond Z DZT 8000 tub grinder available on tracks

Diamond Z Manufacturing has introduced a track mounted version of their DZT8000. The DZT8000TKT (TKT represents tracks and transporter) combines a user-friendly design with innovative features that improve on-site and off-site mobility, increased throughput and enhanced overall appearance. The DZT8000TKT design has the same features as the standard tub grinder with the addition of tracks and its own transport system. The DZ Transporter easily secures to the back of the grinder to allow transporting for long distances. Once on the job site, users simply unhook the DZ Transporter, and manoeuvre the DZT8000TKT around with an easy to control remote. The DZT8000TKT’s short, compact and durable design maximizes on-site mobility and stability. Its heavy-built one-piece frame design, 14-foot tub, and an aggressive 60-inch hammermill allows for increased production capacities of up to 100 tons per hour for stumps and logs; up to 95 tons per hour for brush and yard waste; and up to 100 tons per hour for pallets and construction waste. Safety features include a defl ector and containment shield option, virtually eliminating the possibility of thrown debris. For ease of maintenance, an extended work platform surrounds the engine area and a bolt in replaceable mill box provides greater accessibility for maintenance. The engine on these units is a C27, 875 horsepower or a C27, 1,050 horsepower powerplant.
