V-screen separator

The patented V-screen separator is a central component of CP’s single stream and paper fibre recycling systems. Units provide high throughput, high effective screening surface, reduced labour, maintenance and safety concerns, and a very clean container stream. Benefits of the V-screen include: less glass breakage with an improved container egress path; dual decks that fold vertically for easier, safer access, patented compound discs with long life; two-piece discs for quick replacement; and easily removeable square-tube steel shafts that minimize wrapping and require minimal cleaning. These units also feature a hydraulically actuated, electronically-controlled deck angle and machine pitch that quickly accommodates processing requirements, a patented traction-control air system that minimizes roll back and maximizes fibre/ container separation, and an exclusive fi-bre-control air system that keeps fibre from migrating over the end of screens.
