Updated logger
The updated MAC L3600 Logger provides operators with the ability to adjust both throttle levels and bale density from inside the cab. With the flip of a switch the operator can select any of three different bale densities. Material handling and loading are designed to be fast and easy with a four-tine grapple-equipped boom, offering 555 degrees continuous rotation.
Powered by a 166 horsepower John Deere engine (rear mounted for easy maintenance access), the L3600’s large 70-inch wide by 90-inch deep, by 192-inch long baling chamber keeps production levels high.
Plus, at 90 inches, the chamber is lower than many comparable designs to offer better operator visibility during processing. And Granutech engineers drew upon the best alloys available for construction to offer maximum durability. The result of their efforts is a logger that is truly built for performance.
Bale sizes measure 36 inches wide by 24 inches high, with variable lengths, and bale densities range anywhere from 3-60 pounds/cubic foot with averages in the 35-40 pounds /cubic foot range. Additionally, the L3600’s baling cycle is fully automated (doors close / ram in / ram out /doors open) for easy, one-person operation.
