The DZT 8000 tub grinder combines Diamond Z’s user-friendly design and engineering philosophies with innovative features that improve on-site mobility, increased throughput and enhanced overall appearance. The new grinder’s short, compact and durable design maximizes on-site mobility and stability. Its heavy-built one-piece frame design and aggressive 60-inch hammermill allow for increased production capacities of up to 100 tons per hour for stumps and logs, up to 95 tons per hour for brush and yard waste, and up to 100 tons per hour for pallets and construction waste.
The DZT 8000 incorporates various features for safety and ease of use and maintenance. Its aggressive hammermill and improved deflector and containment shields greatly minimize any possibility for throwing debris. Plus, an extended work platform surrounding the engine area provides greater accessibility for maintenance. The DZT 8000 is available as a standard operating tub grinder and will be available as a track-mounted machine.
