Powerful tub grinder
The 1600 tub grinder is capable of grinding up to ten-foot stumps at very high production rates, and includes a hammermill nearly six feet in length. The hammermill was designed to support the tub’s extremely high production rate and operating efficiency, and production capabilities are limited only by the equipment needed to feed the tub. Units will grind very large diameter material due to a base diameter that measures 11 feet, two inches, and a tub capacity of 20 cubic yards.
Some other key features include: a standard 22-hammer pattern with q uick-change to a 30-hammer pattern; a standard steel three-auger system; the easy to operate Iqan programming and monitoring system; easy maintenance features; and a power pack auxiliary pump, which can power the hydraulic rod pusher, tub fold, conveyor fold and stabilizer without starting the engine.
