Rotochopper transformed its Minnesota headquarters for Demo Day — turning it into a hub of innovation and collaboration for the grinding and waste reduction industry. In September, more than 120 contractors, partners, and industry leaders from across the globe came together for an exclusive, hands-on experience that showcased the latest advancements in grinding, shredding, and material processing technology.

At the heart of this year's event was the much-anticipated launch of the L II horizontal grinder — a new heavyweight addition to Rotochopper's product line. Designed in direct response to customer feedback, the L II delivers higher throughput, increased uptime, and reliability for demanding land clearing and high-volume applications.

"It was awesome to introduce the L II to a group of industry leaders at Demo Day 2025 here at our facility," said Tosh Brinkerhoff, Rotochopper president and CEO. "The L II is a game changer for Rotochopper—built from the ground up to take productivity and reliability to the next level."

COO Jamey Brick added, "The L II embodies our ongoing commitment to innovation driven by customer insight. Every improvement represents our dedication to solving real-world challenges."

Beyond the L II debut, Demo Day attendees witnessed the power and versatility of the DK Series shredders, including the 75DK, 85DK, and 95DK, each tackling challenging materials like tires and railroad ties to stumps, boats, and appliances. These demonstrations highlighted the shredders' efficiency, cross-belt magnet technology, and unmatched ability to handle contaminated or bulky feedstocks.

Demo Day also spotlighted Rotochopper's full lineup of equipment, including grinders, screening equipment, and mobile bagging unit, along with newer innovations such as the Screener Conveyor, which enhances end-product consistency and streamlines material flow. These demonstrations illustrated Rotochopper's commitment to delivering complete solutions for optimized performance across a range of applications.

Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to network, tour the facility, and participate in hands-on learning with Rotochopper's engineering and service teams, including rotor design, surge hoppers, and Rotochopper's RotoLink Monitoring System and the Preventative Maintenance Program.

"People love coming back here to see the Rotochopper team, the facility, and connect with others from across the country," said Chris Mellow, Southeast sales manager. "It's a one-of-a-kind experience that blends innovation, community, and the excitement of seeing what's next."

Demo Day 2025 reaffirmed Rotochopper's role as a leader in innovation and collaboration, bringing the industry together to share ideas, build connections, and experience what's possible when performance meets partnership.
