UNTHA shredding technology brings its latest product development to the market: the UNTHA Power Core, an innovative power generator for the autonomous operation of XR and ZR shredders.
Industrial shredders play a key role in the sensible recycling of waste materials and returning raw materials to the recycling cycle. Many companies pursue economic and sustainable goals when selecting new investments, including machines that are as economical and efficient as possible, low emissions and noise levels, and high user-friendliness. Due to the electric drive — the Eco Power Drive — UNTHA shredders are energy-efficient and cost-effective. Companies that previously had to dispense with this technology due to a lack of power connections can now make the switch quickly and easily with the Power Core.
Maximum flexibility
The Power Core is suitable for a wide variety of scenarios:
- As a rental model to bridge the gap until the local power infrastructure is available. This facilitates the switch to electrically powered shredding solutions.
- When the shredder needs to be operated flexibly at different locations, even in places without a fixed power supply.
- For temporary use, such as when a shredder is rented, for example, for short-term capacity expansion or as part of live demonstrations. UNTHA provides a complete package consisting of a shredder and a power unit.
Perfectly matched
The Power Core has been tailored to the requirements of the XR and ZR shredders. With the intelligent, adaptive control system, it automatically adjusts its output to the energy requirements of the shredder; always ensuring energy-efficient operation. UNTHA's Power Core features high dynamics and power density, allowing the entire unit to be designed to be very compact.
The Power Core is designed to be ultra compact in size while requiring less fuel than previous models. The integrated fuel tank ensures a continuous power supply to the shredder for a running time of 25 hours. An external auxiliary tank can be connected for even longer, uninterrupted operation.
Features of the Power Core
With various transport options, the Power Core can be easily moved and positioned. This provides users with maximum flexibility when selecting the location for their operation. The shredder and Power Core can also be connected quickly and easily using the Power Lock System. The new unit has also been integrated into the MyUNTHA customer portal. This allows users to track all activities of the Power Core and the shredder in real time. UNTHA GENIUS processes this data and helps to optimize processes.
The UNTHA Power Core stands for responsible use of energy. It complies with the strict EPA Final Tier 4 / EU Stage V emission standards and thus actively contributes to reducing emissions. This makes it particularly suitable for use in sensitive environments and contributes positively to environmentally and user-friendly working practices.
