BIR creates logo for the World Council of Recycling Associations
The association brings together elected leaders and staff from 36 national recycling associations worldwide

The Bureau of International Recycling (BIR) has introduced a new logo for its World Council of Recycling Associations (WCRA) to recognize the role that the association plays in global recycling advocacy.
The World Council of Recycling Associations serves as a platform to bring together the elected leaders and heads of permanent staff from 36 national recycling associations worldwide. It provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and best practices, and plays a crucial role in shaping BIR's strategic roadmap.
"I am so proud of the achievements of WCRA over the last years," said BIR President Susie Burrage. "Joining forces between all national associations gives us incredible impact and influence. By giving the World Council its own logo, we want to pay tribute to this collaborative strength and highlight its importance within the BIR family."
The new logo symbolizes WCRA's unity and global reach, reflecting its commitment to driving legislative and environmental action on behalf of the recycling industry. This visual identity will be prominently featured in all World Council communications and activities.
