Stellar Industries is highlighting its NXT52 Hooklift at ISRI 2024 in Las Vegas, an innovative high-capacity unit targeted at meeting the needs of material handling in scrap and recycling industries.
The NXT52 combines high capacity with a below-grade hook bar approach, offering efficient performance. It has a 10.5-inch lost load height, a 52,000-pound capacity, and is capable of handling 16 to 22-foot bodies for 174- to 214-inch CT chassis.
A bolt-on body lock system provides maximum compatibility and flexibility.
In addition, Stellar has announced a new, innovative control system for its hooklifts, with an electronic joystick control. The new controller will feature a single joystick to control all functions of the hooklift, while prioritizing ergonomics for ease of use. The controller will be mounted to an adjustable base so it can be tailored for the comfort of each operator. This option will be available on the NXT52, with plans to roll out on additional large Stellar hooklifts in the future.
