Terex has launched Green-Tec, a new brand that provides tree care and vegetation management solutions. These will include a range of chippers, trommels, shredders, dedicated tree care handlers, mulchers, and lifting equipment.
"As we look for opportunities to grow and diversify the Terex MP Environmental offering, the tree care and vegetation management sector is an area where we can channel our expertise in providing efficient and environmentally friendly solutions," said Jamie Mairs, newly appointed business line director for Green-Tec.
The products will cater to industries, spanning pipelines, railroads, highway/road infrastructure, private utilities, municipalities, and residential and commercial companies. For pipelines, the focus is on-site clearing for oil and gas pipeline infrastructure. Railroads require services such as tree trimming, cutting, and chipping along railway lines. Specialized vegetation management is essential for maintaining road infrastructure. Private utilities rely on tree care and vegetation management for transmission and distribution lines. Municipalities face challenges in urban forestry, necessitating tree management along roads, paths, and power lines. Additionally, residential, and commercial companies benefit from tree management services.
Green-Tec is looking for new distributors to represent its product range and provide local aftersales support.
