GENSCO introduces SUPER STRIPPER SERIES for all types of cable

Gensco Equipment's new age of tools for heavy cable processing - Gensco Super Strippers - are designed to process standard and armoured electrical cable and other types of cable including PVC-covered , lead, rubber, nylon, Subsea, Tech, XLPE, REDA and insulated tubing.

According to Gensco, their line up of heavy-duty cable stripping machines fill a void left by the machinery industry.

"We have not found another cable stripper that is versatile enough to strip such a large variety of types and/or sizes of heavy cable without compromising effectiveness," explains Sean Abenstein, Gensco Equipment.

With three models to choose from, these new Super Strippers can be configured to process small common wire  from 3mm (1/8") round to 205mm (8") round. Throughput can reach up to 90 feet per minute.

These machines  require easy adjustment for the various sizes of cable users are wanting to strip. Plus, larger models are offered with standard electric pendant controls to adjust cutting blade depths.  Most models come complete with a rear shake out table making fast, simple and effective work when sorting and stripping processed cables.

"These robust machines are easy to adjust for the various sizes of cable," says Abenstein. "Our larger models offer standard electric pendant controls to adjust cutting blade depths and overall cable diameter." He adds that most models come complete with a rear shake out table for fast, simple and effective stripping and sorting.

"These models are built with the recycling industry in mind, and a realistic understanding of the abuse machines are expected to take, especially in the environment they are operating in," says Abenstein.

These machines use oversize feed rollers with teeth that are quenched and tempered. They are designed for intensive work with armored cables.  Super Strippers also include heavy duty bearings and bushings, along with an oversized gearbox and chain drive for maximum torque.

Some of the comprehensive safety measures include an emergency safety braking system and safety guards.  Plus, there are lubrication points for all moving parts, and panels are all easy to access for maintenance. All machines are also supplied with approved electrical starting panels, overload protection and forward and reverse controls.
