The Recycling Council of Alberta is pleased to announce its 2016 Waste Reduction Conference "League of Extraordinary Recyclers – Knocking out Waste", to be held September 28-30, 2016, at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Jasper, Alberta.
The conference will feature a wide array of topics and speakers, and potential presenters are welcome to submit proposals on a range of topics, including reuse initiatives, textile recycling, biogas, Zero Waste, circular economy, and other innovative programs and technologies.
Confirmed keynote speakers are Jerry Powell (Resource Recycling) and Scott Parent (adventurer and reclaimed disposal site homesteader).
A wide choice of sponsorship opportunities to suit all budgets are also available this year.
A preliminary program is posted at https://recycle.ab.ca/upcoming-conference and you can now register online as well. Recognizing the current economic reality, we are offering registration fees at 2014 rates. We are hoping this will help organizations facing tight budgets.
