At the end of June, Ontario-based GEEP (Global Electric Electronic Processing) and Ecuador-based Intercia announced a partnership agreement within the territory of Ecuador.
Intercia GEEP Ecuador Headquarters are located in Guayaquil and have six plants spanning the area: two in Guayaquil, two in Quito, one in Montecristi and one in Durán. According to GEEP, Intercia GEEP Ecuador is fully committed to meeting all of the company's ISO standards and downstream requirements and will pursue certifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and R2.
Intercia has been established in Guayaquil since 2002 and belongs to the Inversancarlos Group, one of the most important economic groups in Ecuador, with operations in several fields. Intercia acquired their recycling operations from Reipa, Recesa and Ecuarecicla, who are the oldest and the largest recycling operators in Ecuador.
