The model D6745-27k cart lifter, one of the latest offerings from Perkins, is designed to lift both US style ANSI type B carts as well as European style ANSI type C carts. It dumps high and deep into the hopper for extra productivity, emptying more carts into the hopper before compaction, which saves wear and tear on trucks and time for operators.
The mounting range for this model is 37 to 47 inches, and units are available in a short-arm version (model D6740s-27k) which has a mounting range of 37 to 42 inches. Another available option is to purchase the unit without U.S. hooks, for customers who expect to service only European carts.
At the heart of the lifter is Perkins’ new 27k helical rotary actuator, which offers smooth and dependable lifting action. Plus, a new casted split-body design makes it easier to open the actuator for rebuilds.
