Benlee introduces compact roll-off truck replacement

The BENLEE Super Mini Roll-Off Truck Replacement, designed for hauling standard roll-off containers, is a short roll-off trailer, only 27-feet, 11 inches long. When connected to a standard tractor, the Super Mini is slightly longer than a standard roll-off truck, and because the tractor trailer pivots, is more maneuverable.

The Super Mini is designed to payload 50 to 90 percent more than a roll-off truck depending on regional laws. It weighs only 12,100 pounds and will legally handle more than a straight roll-off. When considering the weight of a tractor at 16,000 pounds, and a container at 6,000 pounds, the Super Mini will legally haul 35,900 pounds of payload, giving haulers a competitive advantage over roll-off trucks, because of the ability to haul more weight legally every trip.

According to BENLEE, cost and fleet uptime are additional advantages the Super Mini has over roll-off trucks, with its potential to save haulers over $100,000, especially if they have an underutilized tractor. Also, the Super Mini will last over 25 years, where roll-off trucks are normally good for 10 to 12 years. Plus, fleet uptime is increased because haulers can disconnect the Super Mini from the tractor and haul different types of trailers.   Additional features include: 1-inch chromium trivalent-plated hydraulic lines; 1-inch Parker 3,000 psi hoses; sheaves and rollers with internal grease grooves; LED lights; and wheel checks.   BENLEE also manufactures roll-off trailers for those applications where haulers need to carry a longer container and more weight. The most popular of these units in Canada is the TRA60TC39 model, a tri-axle roll-off trailer that can carry a container up to 38 feet long, and which is designed specifically for the Canadian market and regulations.
