INNOVAtrac is a waste and recyclables cart and collection tracking solution designed specifically to reduce waste management costs and environmental footprint. This system is the first developed specifically for waste collection management, and not adapted from another system,according to its developer, Quebec-based Lateral Innovations.
INNOVAtrac detects containers without using a transponder. It provides users with collection history and reporting, up-to-date container inventory, route audits, exceptions handling, truck and driver history. Plus, it can be used for pay-as-you-throw, and it connects to any scale. This customizable solution also features a route auto-learning mode, and works well in temperatures from -40 to 60 degrees C. Vehicular software can be upgraded remotely through cell or Wi-Fi networks and the system operates without a touch screen.
Also available, INNOVAdel and INNOVAsite. INNOVAdel is a combination of software and hardware designed for keeping track of door to door cart delivery. INNOVAsite uses RFID technology and is designed to efficiently manage truck traffic to landfills, compost and recycling sites.
