The Poly-Trux 54P-18 recycling collection cart is now available with an optional, ergonomic spring loaded platform. This new feature is designed to reduce bending and reaching into the utility truck, ease lifting and promote complete dumping. Set inside the utility truck, the durable plastic platform automatically rises as bottles, cans, papers, scrap metal and other materials are removed for recycling or for transfer to larger containers, while hiding the spring mechanism underneath to prevent contact.
Developed to promote worker safety, the spring loaded recycling cart aids compliance with OSHA’s general-duty clause 29 USC 654 covering work positioning.
Ideal for recycling companies, waste brokers, document destruction companies, municipalities and others concerned with worker safety and efficiency, the 54P-18 collection cart is rotationally moulded of 100 percent waterproof polyethylene for long-term, indoor and outdoor operation. The bulk truck is set on a heavy-duty base combining 5/8-inch painted marine plywood with six industrial strength, non-marking casters. Sixteen standard colours and a variety of options are available.
