Cat’s line of small wheel loaders are now available with a number of new guarding options, a powered air filtration and precleaning system, a factory-installed reversing lights package, and new remote breathers for drive train components.
Also, new Performance Series Buckets are designed to mate with Cat Fusion Couplers and deliver productivity improvements of more than five percent due to their optimized shape. The buckets and each of the new options are designed for some or all of Cat’s small wheel loaders – 924H, 924Hz, 928Hz and 930H models.
According to Cat, the new options deliver benefits in a wide variety of applications, and several were prompted by specific demands of solid waste operations. A new hitch guard package is designed to protect the articulation area, while a heavy-duty rear guard enhances protection of the rear of the machine and provides access for radiator cleaning and other maintenance.
Plus, due to newly available remote axle and transmission breathers which raise the fording depth of these machines, units can be immersed in water to the midpoint of the axle.
