Montreal-based FleetMind offers a range of solutions designed to help waste and recycling companies manage their fleets, including FleetMap (fleet tracking) FleetLink Scales (onboard weight management) and a Cart Delivery and Management System (RFID solution.) 

Most recently, FleetMind introduced its enhanced Automated Service Verification solution, designed for waste and recycling firms. This solution delivers real-time and fully automated service verification to track individual container and customer activity. Using RFID tags, each can or cart can be associated with a specific customer address. This, the company says, provides improved customer service, ensures accurate billing, monitors driver and truck activity, and helps track waste and recycling assets and verify recycling credits.

FleetLink Scales is a patented onboard weight management system that installs easily onto truck forks for a lower-cost and more reliable scales solution. FleetLink Scales integrates seamlessly with back office systems to eliminate the need for expensive truck modifications, ensure minimal maintenance or calibration, provide real-time data access for immediate resolution to customer issues and identify extra services and weights for accurate billing.  

FleetMind’s Cart Delivery and Management System is an advanced RFID-based solution for automated garbage collection and the management of individual carts and customers. It provides real-time and fully automated service verification to track individual container and customer activity.  Using RFID tags, each garbage can or cart can be associated with a specific customer address to improve customer service, ensure accurate billing, verify recycling credits, monitor driver and truck activity and track waste and recycling assets.  

FleetMap is a fleet tracking system that provides the level of detail and back-office capabilities waste fleets need for a complete real-time view into the entire fleet - every stop of the way. FleetMap’s newest capabilities let you track route information both on a map and in text format to monitor container activity, view multiple items of information on the map simultaneously for up to four routes, automatically view detailed container information on selected map areas, identify unjustified stops, display any pictures associated with a stop by selecting that stop location and provide dispatch personnel with the current position of vehicles for quick and accurate dispatch decision-making.
