The Wildcat 516 Cougar trommel screen features a high capacity 3.82m3 (five-cubic-yard) low-profile hopper. This unit’s design allows operators to change the screen panels and adjust screen brushes from the ground level, and a wide and tall throat opening between the hopper and drum helps minimize material bridging. The 516 Cougar is powered by a 66-hp (49 kW) John Deere PE 4024T Tier 3 diesel engine and has a 6.1m (20-foot) conveyor that aids in truck loading. An optional tipping grid above the feed hopper with remote control is available, and setup can be completed in only 15 minutes.
