New skiploader and hooklift systems

UK-based hydraulic truck tipping hoist and waste management equipment specialist Edbro has launched a new telescopic arm skiploader as well as a powerful, lightweight hooklift system, designed to meet modern requirements for increased productivity, optimum chassis utilization and maximum safety. Both the new MB14T telescopic arm skiploader (shown) and the TH23 power hook offer a fast lift-off facility that dramatically reduces lifting cycles.

Designed for use with 18-tonne and 23-GVW chassis, the MB14T telescopic arm skiploader provides a lift capacity of up to 14 tonnes. Lightweight and fast operating, these skiploaders provide side and front adjustable bin stops, providing the flexibility to accommodate container sizes from 3.82m3 to 12.23m3 capacity, and base lengths from 1.83m to 2.31m. It also offers independent and sequence arm control for increased flexibility in operation.   Other key features of the MB14T include: a compact, robust rear-end design that offers maximum protection for rear light clusters; independent jack legs; and a range of protection features, including dead-man control for increased driver safety. Both pivoted flat foot and roller options are also available.

The TH23 power hook is a powerful, lightweight hooklift system designed for use with up to 32-tonne-GVW chassis. Weighing in at just 2,980kg, the unit’s lightweight design gives an extremely high power-to-weight ratio, providing a maximum lift capacity of up to 23 tonnes, and a tipping angle up to 46 degrees.

Edbro also recently introduced the Inclinometer, a new product designed to monitor the tipping angle of rigid trucks and trailers during operation. This technology can accurately measure the tipping angle up to 0.1 degrees and will signal a warning and prevent further tipping when the driver reaches a pre-programmed angle.
