As the largest windrow turner in Komptech’s full line of composting equipment, the Topturn X67 can process up to 6,000 cubic yards per hour and will handle windrows 21 feet wide by 10 feet tall. The X67 can maximize site space and efficiency with its ability to overlap windrows by one foot, and with an optional lateral displacement device moves windrows laterally to reduce material handling costs. These units can also infuse water into the pile with an optional watering device, which decreases rotting duration. These units are built for a variety of applications, including manure, green waste compost, bio-solids and MSW composting.
All Topturn X models have a hydrostatic drive combined with a solid telescopic frame, which allows full mobility on any terrain. Units also feature optimal working conditions for the driver. A large, high-throughput, hydraulically-driven turning roller – designed to provide excellent mixing with low wear – ensures ideal windrow rotting conditions. A choice of sizes is available, and units come in wheel drive (for outstanding traction and quick mobility) or track drive (for maximum mobility on unpaved ground.) Additional key features include simple transport and comfortable access through a swivelling cabin, and an optional side displacement unit for maximum site utilization.
