Nitrogen-assisted dampening system

Nitrogen-assisted dampening system

The Equalizer is a nitrogen-assisted dampening system, designed for Talbert spread axle trailers. This distinctive suspension system hydraulically transfers loads in all terrains, and oscillates around a central self-tracking pivot point to provide proportionate weight distribution in each axle grouping, regardless of varying road conditions. Designed as a simple user-friendly system, operators can make easy and quick adjustments, and maintain those settings to maximize loads safely and efficiently.
By hydraulically dampening axle movement and controlling load transfer, The Equalizer suspension system absorbs hauling and loading shocks, which provides a greater range of suspension movement for reduced stress and a smoother ride. In addition to its advanced design, The Equalizer also incorporates duel two-speed landing gear, which makes connecting the trailer to the axle attachment much easier. The unique design of these units also allows the axle attachment to be lifted out of the way easily for backing. Since no shimming is required, considerable time is also saved operationally and empty travel is possible without removing the booster and attachment. The Equalizer allows a 14-foot 1-inch spread with 54-inch axle spacing, and a 14-foot 7-inch spread with 60-inch axle spacing.
