Genesis Attachments has expanded its Genesis Demolition Recycler (GDR) line to include the GDR 150 and GDR 300. The new models join the model GDR 200, are ideal for processing concrete in both demolition and recycling applications and are designed for third-member use on 15- and 30-metric ton machines. The new model GDRs deliver a high amount of crushing force at the tip: 85 tons for the GDR 150 and 148 tons for the GDR 300. The GDR 150 offers a jaw opening of 26 inches and jaw depth of 25 inches, while the GDR 300 has a jaw opening of 42 inches and a jaw depth of 28 inches. Quick cycle times and tremendous crushing forces are made possible through use of a regeneration valve and a large-bore cylinder, respectively.
“Both of these new models bring an added dimension to the demolition contractor’s operation,” says Dan Raihala, Genesis Attachments’ design engineer. “They now have the ability to utilize a lighter-weight, yet more powerful processing tool on a standard or high-reach machine, which can really open the door to previously unbiddable projects.”
Both new models can be ordered in shearing, concrete cracking, or concrete pulverizing configurations, making them ideal for a range of tasks, including cracking/crushing concrete, cutting pipe, rebar or structural steel, or for demolition or downsizing oversized concrete in concrete recycling applications.
