Compact granulation and separation system

Designed as a compact, self-contained granulation and separation unit, this Mini Reclaim System (MRS) is ideal for reclaiming scrap wire and cable and precious metal-bearing electronic scrap. Units also work very well for heavy gauge copper wire, thermal barrier aluminum extrusions, loose copper windings, communication wire, CATV cable, insulated aluminum cable, computer wire, and most harness wire.

The MRS can supplement or replace an existing sorting and baling operation, giving users the capability of separating higher value products, or upgrading many types of non-ferrous scrap. The system scales down the process used in larger scrap wire and cable reclamation systems, while maintaining high standards of design and construction quality.

Triple/S Dynamics’ unique integration of the system’s major processing components allows for one person operation. The MRS processes wire and cable mechanically, and PVC-bearing materials do not require burning. Capacity of the unit is rated at 1,000 gross pounds per hour for most types of insulated copper wire and cable. On heavier gauge scrap, such as Cu/Al transformers and copper windings, true capacity ranges between 1,500 and 2,000 pounds per hour. For finer gauge and low-grade materials, such as computer wire and CATV cable, capacity will be reduced.
