New telescopic handler introduced

The new RS10 telescopic handler is the latest addition to Gehl’s RS Series. Units have a rated lift capacity of 10,000 pounds (4,536 kg) and a maximum lift height of 44 feet (13.4 m), making them true high-capacity, “4-storey machines.” The RS10 is ideal for use in a range of applications, including in the waste and recycling sector (the RS10 is shown here handling cardboard bales).

The boom of the new RS10 telescopic handler has a welded box-section design, which it shares with the proven Gehl DL series telescopic handlers, which means it is extremely strong. The 10,000 pound operating capacity is achieved without the use of outriggers or fluid-filled tires, although outriggers are optional for added stability.

These units also feature: a patented Personnel Work Platform (PWP) Safety System available as an option; a rear axle stabilizer system; a strong frame with reinforced C-channels; internal wet disc brakes for better stopping ability and longer life, and an ROPS/FOPS canopy and cab with full 360 degree visibility. The new RS10 telescopic handler is powered by a turbocharged diesel engine with 115 horsepower (86 kW) and is equipped with a four-speed power-shift transmission, three steering modes and a quick-attach work tool-mounting system.
