New line of industrial recycling equipment

Diamond Z Manufacturing recently announced a new line of industrial equipment, consisting of mobile and stationary car crushers, and baler loggers in either one or two ram cylinder configurations. The model DZBL650-LS700 (shown here) is a single ram cylinder baler/logger/ loader/shear with a total cycle time of less than two minutes. These units feature a baling chamber that is 108 inches by 20 feet open, and 24 inches by 32 inches closed, for maximum productivity. The DZBL650-LS700 comes with bolt-in replaceable 3/4-inch T-1 liners to extend the life of the crush chamber, has a state of the art multi-layer touch screen control system with operational diagnostic, value and fault code screens, and features a heated, air conditioned cab with joystick controls and a deluxe seat for operator comfort. Units also come with automated control cycles for the baler, logger and the shear, as well as a password-protected diagnostic screen with auto system analysis. The shear is a 700 ton unit with an opening of 25 by 33 inches, and will make approximately six cuts per minute, giving the operator the ability to log material and shear logs to any desired length. These new baler logger loader shears are available in a single ram or dual ram design, and in stationary or portable, diesel or electric configurations. Options include self-loaders, machine-mounted shears up to 700 tons, an air compressor for maintenance and convenience, a pre-load table for efficiency, and an auxiliary fuel tank with pump to assist with support equipment.

The new Viking DZCC800 series car crushers from Diamond Z are designed with hardened steel wear areas and are equipped with an automated crush and rock cycle. Units are available in mobile and stationary models, in combustion or electric configura-tions and feature total cylinder force of 323,270 pounds, and system pressure of 2,700 psi. Crush chamber width is 20 feet, with a depth of seven feet eight inches, and cycle times are 50 seconds.
