SPEKTRUM BW sorting technology is ideal for use wherever light/ dark or dark/light materials need to be separated, such as when separating the dark rubber seals from the lighter PVC of window frames during recycling. A detector identifies material that is too dark or too light, its position is identified and precise ejection nozzles activate to blow out the contaminant. Throughputs of up to three tonnes per hour are possible, and units can be upgraded to full colour sorting capability.
