NEW ATTACHMENT LINEUP

Morbark now offers heavy-duty brush rakes, 360-degree grapples and two models of debris shears – the Model 60 and Model 40. The Model 60 handles wood up to 60 inches in diameter and can split and shear material both in and out of the ground, and weld-on tips and blades are replaceable for quick maintenance. The Model 60 is rated for a carrier with a weight classification between 55,000 to 80,000 pounds, while the Model 40 is also equipped with a replaceable blade and tips, and rated for 30,000 to 50,000 pound carriers. This shear is operated from existing carrier hydraulic circuitry and no additional hydraulics are necessary. Morbark brush rakes are uniquely designed with close-proximity bottom tines to allow for picking up and pallets, C&D material, regrind and more. Units are available with 11 or 13 tines, and with a rake design that allows dirt to shake out through the bottom, eliminating feeding large quantities of dirt into a grinder. These units take less than five minutes to attach to a front end wheel loader, using two simple hydraulic hoses for power to the top tines. The brush rake effectively allows users to bring material to a grinder, instead of bringing a grinder to the material.
Morbark’s latest addition to the attachment lineup is the Model 60 Debris Grapple. Units use two heavy-duty hydraulic motors with spur gears which allow for 360 degree continuous rotation of the grapple. In addition to swivelling, the grapple pivots to the side, making cleanup under a grinder a snap. Users can just sweep the grapple underneath the infeed bed to push or pull material out, and units allow feeding from any position or side.
