GORE COVER IN-VESSEL SYSTEMS

GORE COVER IN-VESSEL SYSTEMS
GORE Cover in-vessel composting systems comply specifically with Canadian licensing requirements, are designed for ease of use and feature low investment and operating costs. These covers utilize semi-permeable laminate and oxygen-controlled pressurized aeration, and systems consist of a control unit, PC, tarpaulin retainer, temperature profile probe, oxygen/ temperature probe, winding gear, ventilator station, drainage systems, in-floor aeration channels and the GORE Cover.

In 2008, GORE Cover treatment capacity in Canada for source separated organics is being significantly increased. Recent installations include All Treat Farms in Arthur, Ontario, which has doubled its Cover System to handle up to 80,000 tonnes per annum, as well as Walker / IMS in Thorhold, Ontario and Norterra Organics in Kingston, Ontario, who are installing 40,000 and 20,000 tonnes per year. Additionally, a post treatment application to an initial treatment through a tunnel system is to be built at the Caledon Curing facility for Peel Region, Ontario for up to 60,000 tonnes per annum.

GORE Covers have also successfully composted biosolids that meet Class A standards in the City of Edmonton, Alberta, as well as for the Greater Moncton Sewerage Comission, New Brunswick. Additionally, GORE Cover was recently awarded the contract for a large composting project for the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (LACSD) where, from 2010 onwards, 1,000,000 tonnes per annum of waste water sludge and structural material are to be treated.
